Lucky Craft’s Bevy Series, nicknamed the “lure that catches,” were successful baits for shore fishing in Japan during the 1990s. The finished piece reflects the cutting-edge technology that was developed during the arrival of bass fishing in Japan.

As a standard for system lures in Japan, the Bevy Series remains very popular. Short-bill minnows, due to their bait shape, are often the first choice in all types of fishing. This class of small minnows was conceptualized based on visual baits such as smelt. It is the starting point of lures that are straight and easy to notice.

You can use this type of lure in a wide range of applications, such as letting them float to attract fish or agitating the fish seeing the lure. The Bevy Minnow series consists of the smallest 40-mm type and 45-mm type with a round cross-section, while the Bevy Pointer has a size of 48 mm and a plane that produces strong flashing effects.

Although you can select which lure to use based on size, naturally the best way is to use the Bevy Minnow in slow fishing with a simple reeling-in action but use the Bevy Pointer in quick fishing where quick reeling or twitching is used.
